Pete Delgado (Owner/President)
Aka: "Our Fearless Leader!!"

Pete was born and raised in Miami Florida, and was first certified as an Open Water Diver in 1979 through the Professional Diving Instructor Corporation (PDIC). Through the years he continued diving recreationally, eventually crossing over to PADI in 1985 while learning the ropes as a "shop monkey" at one of Miami's most popular dive center's of that time. Pete enlisted in the United States Army in 1987, and was stationed at Ft. Leonard wood Missouri as a Military Policeman. This gave Pete a unique opportunity to experience a different kind of diving usually in lakes, quarries, and caves.

While in the service Pete also became a Rescue Diver, and served as an advisor on the Pulaski County Diving Accident Review Board. After honorably discharging in 1990, Pete attended the School of Justice in Miami Dade, and became certified as a Police Officer beginning his career with The West Miami Police Department. Pete went on to become a PADI Instructor, and certified hundreds of students at various dive operations both in Miami and the Florida Keys. After nearly 10 years of independent teaching as an instructor, Pete decided to pursue his long term dream, by purchasing Florida Frogman in the summer of 2005.  He is currently a PADI Master Instructor with a Staff Instructor rating, and is scheduled to attend the Course Director Training Course in Malaysia, March of 2009.

When not in the water, Mike is busy operating his waste removal and recycling company.

Peter Delgado (Divemaster)

Peter, like his dad, always had a unique passion for the underwater world. He was first certified as a PADI Junior Open Water Diver in 2000 at the age of ten. Peter was often around while his dad was teaching open water classes, quickly mastering his air consumption and buoyancy skills. He earned his PADI Master Scuba Diver rating in October 2005. Peter worked extensively in the shop during the summer of 2005, familiarizing himself with the equipment and manufacturer’s qualities to effectively assist with any customer request. When time permits, he’s also there during the school year. Currently a Senior at Miami Coral Park Senior High School, he plans on becoming a PADI Instructor this summer.

Jose Alvarez (Divemaster)

Jose was born in Cuba and has lived in Miami since he was eight years old. In 1981, he was certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver. After several years of diving he became a PADI Divemaster. During weekdays he works as an Aircraft Test Equipment Engineer. He says he likes his job, but thinking about the next weekend's dive keeps him going. When people tell him diving is expensive, he usually replies by saying, "Being in the ocean is the best therapy anyone could have, and it is less expensive than a psychologist". Jose plans to become a PADI Open Water Instructor in the near future.
