Florida Frogman carries
a large selection of equipment and accessories specifically
designed for skin & scuba diving. The majority
of our inventory is designed for recreational diving, however,
we do sell and stock a variety of commercial gear (full-face
masks, communications equipment, compressors etc.) In addition,
Florida Frogman stocks and sells underwater photo equipment,
specializing in submersible Video systems. Internet/Mail order sales
Although many items we offer
can be sold via the "net" and/or
mail order, some cannot. Beside the obvious, that life support
products (Regulators, BC’s etc.) require special training
and Certification, most major dive equipment manufacturers forbid
the sale of any of their products via the "net".
All authorized dealers, for any given manufacturer, are required
to sign contracts, which stipulate the sale of any and all
products
must take place in the store/on premises.
So, how are others able
to sell major brand name diving products via the net/mail order? Those stores or internet
sites that offer mail order of major brand name equipment (Aqualung,
Seaquest,
Oceanic, Sherwood,
Scuba Pro etc.) are either not licensed/authorized dealers
or are in violation of their dealer contract.? Those businesses
buy products from unscrupulous dealers and locations that
are going out of business or they violate the terms of their
own
dealer contract. Purchases made from an unauthorized dealer
will
not have a valid manufacturers warranty. Since warranties
are not transferable, the unauthorized dealer cannot transfer
the
warranty from themselves (as the original purchaser) to you!

SALES/RETURN POLICY
All new products, purchased
from our in-store inventory can be exchanged or returned for
store credit within 7 days from
date
of purchase if returned along with original receipt, original
packaging, instructions, owners manuals warranty paperwork
and in "new" re-saleable condition. No cash refunds.
All returns are subject
to a 20% re-stocking fee.
All special ordered (non-stocking),
made-to-order, and customized merchandise is sold under "Final Sale" conditions
and is not returnable. A deposit of at least 50% is required
to process
special orders.
All used, demo and/or rental
merchandise purchased are sold under "As-Is" conditions,
therefore are not returnable. There are no refunds, credits or exchanges
for unused or partially used rental gear.
Accepted forms of Payment
We still accept Cash! In
addition we accept Master Card, Visa, Discover Card and American
Express. Personal and business checks are welcome, but must
be approved by and meet the requirements of Telecheck services.
For our customers who reside
outside of the USA, credit card transactions are possible,
however, preferred method of payment is Wire transfer, Bank
Draft
or Irrevocable Letter of Credit.
